Author Guidelines

ISCSITR - International Journal of Computer Science and Engineering (ISCSITR-IJCSE) welcomes original research articles, review papers, technical reports, and case studies from researchers, academicians, and industry professionals. Authors are encouraged to follow the guidelines outlined below to ensure a smooth submission and publication process.

Manuscript Preparation

1. Format and Structure

  • Language: Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English.

  • File Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

  • Page Layout:

    • Paper size: A4 (8.27 x 11.69 inches)

    • Margins: 1-inch (top, bottom, left, right)

    • Font: Times New Roman, size 12

    • Line spacing: 1.5

    • Alignment: Justified

2. Manuscript Structure

Ensure that the manuscript is structured as follows:

  • Title Page:

    • Title of the paper (should be concise and descriptive).

    • Names of all authors (in order of contribution).

    • Affiliation of each author (institution name, city, country).

    • Corresponding author’s name and email address.

  • Abstract:

    • A brief summary (150–250 words) of the research, including the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusion.

    • Include 4–6 relevant keywords.

  • Introduction:

    • Provide the background and objectives of the study.

    • State the problem being addressed and its significance.

  • Methodology:

    • Clearly describe the methods and procedures used in the research.

    • Include details on data collection, analysis, and tools used.

    • Outline any software, algorithms, or hardware used.

  • Results:

    • Present findings with appropriate tables, graphs, and figures.

    • Provide performance metrics for algorithms or models (e.g., accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score).

    • Avoid repeating information already shown in tables/figures in the text.

  • Discussion:

    • Interpret the results and explain their significance.

    • Compare with existing research and highlight any new insights.

    • Discuss any limitations and potential improvements.

  • Conclusion:

    • Summarize the key findings and their implications.

    • State any limitations and potential future research directions.

  • References:

    • Follow the APA citation style.

    • Include all references cited in the text in alphabetical order.

    • Ensure that references are accurate and complete.

3. Figures and Tables

  • Number all figures and tables sequentially.

  • Provide a descriptive caption for each figure and table.

  • Ensure that figures are of high resolution (300 dpi or higher).

  • Tables should be editable (not images) and properly aligned.

4. Code and Algorithms

  • If the manuscript includes algorithms, they should be clearly written and formatted using pseudocode or code blocks.

  • Provide sufficient detail to allow replication of the results.

  • Authors are encouraged to provide links to open-source code repositories where applicable.

5. Mathematical and Computational Notation

  • Use standard mathematical notation for formulas and equations.

  • Define all variables and terms upon first use.

  • Ensure that mathematical expressions are clear and consistent.

6. Supplementary Materials

  • Authors are encouraged to provide supplementary materials such as datasets, additional figures, or code where applicable.

  • Provide a description of the supplementary material in the manuscript.

Submission Process

1. Manuscript Submission:

  • Submit your manuscript via email to iscsitr@gmail.com.

  • In the email subject line, mention "ISCSITR-IJCSE Manuscript Submission – [Your Paper Title]".

2. Review Process:

  • All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

  • Authors will receive reviewer comments and may be required to make revisions.

  • The review process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks.

3. Acceptance and Publication:

  • Upon acceptance, authors will receive an official acceptance letter.

  • Accepted papers will be published online in the next available issue.

Publication Ethics

  • Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration by any other journal.

  • Authors should disclose any conflicts of interest.

  • Plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate submissions are strictly prohibited.

  • All authors should have made significant contributions to the research.

Copyright and Licensing

  • By submitting the manuscript, authors grant ISCSITR-IJCSE the right to publish the paper under an open-access model.

  • Authors retain copyright to their work, which will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).

Open Access Policy

  • All articles published in ISCSITR-IJCSE are freely available online without any subscription or access fees.

  • Readers are allowed to download, share, and distribute published content, provided proper credit is given to the authors.

Conflict of Interest Policy

  • Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research.

  • Any conflicts of interest must be stated in the manuscript.

Retraction and Correction Policy
